President: Kiley Hughes
I graduated from Ocean Springs High School and attended Southeastern Louisiana University on a baseball scholarship. Upon graduation, I returned to Ocean Springs Mississippi to begin a teaching career following the paths of my parents. While teaching I went back to school and earned a Masters in Educational Leadership. I was a Principal, Athletic Director, and after 27 years, retired as an Assistant Superintendent. My wife Kellie and I are new to the area moving here in 2023. We have three children, my oldest Haleigh and her husband Nick Mullens live in Mt. Laurel. We moved to Chelsea so we could be closer to them and our grandchildren. My youngest son is a junior at Chelsea high school and my middle son just graduated from Mississippi State and will get married in June. So far the adjustment to this area has been challenging but we are getting used to the fast-paced daily life of Chelsea. When we are not enjoying our grandchildren you can find us on Lay Lake or the many hiking trails in the area. Chelsea is a place we can now call home for many years to come.
Vice President: Joe Ann Jefferson-King
I hail from Coatopa, Alabama. Married, we have 2 children (both reside in ATL), and 1 yorker (Rambo). 😊 I’m one of six siblings, after graduating from Livingston High School, joined the United States Army and honorably retired after serving 22 years. I worked as a JROTC Instructor at Huffman High School. Went back to school, received BS, in Computer Science and moved on to what I know now as another career at The Department of Veterans Affairs (Birmingham & Tuscaloosa) as Information Technical Analyst/Specialist, culminating over 32 years, then retired.
I have always enjoyed the small town/country feel and I decided to enjoy my retirement years in the beautiful city of Chelsea, not too big, not too small. I fell in love with our community tucked away off highway 39. I love my neighborhood and my neighbors, always meeting new folks and I am always looking for ways to give back to the community. I enjoy attending church, RVing, gardening, traveling, volunteering in underserved communities, relaxing, and spending time with the family.

I’ve called Chelsea, AL home for the past 15 years. I earned a BS in Finance from Florida State University in 2008 and later earned a Master’s in Accounting. I’ve been selling residential real estate in the Greater Birmingham area since 2016. I absolutely love helping people buy and sell homes! For most of us, life has so many various stages and times of transition & I love helping my clients navigate those exciting, scary, joyous & stressful times. My husband, Anthony is an avid outdoorsman. He loves hunting and fishing. In my free time, I enjoy going fishing and boat riding with him & our son. I also love working on home improvement projects. My family & I moved to Cameron Woods in 2021. We were attracted to the quiet charm of the homes and the community of Cameron Woods. We enjoy being tucked away off of Highway 39. My hope is that in 2025, myself, Kiley & Joe Ann, can help each of you love and enjoy being in the community of Cameron Woods too!
